About the Trellis Fund

The Trellis Fund is a dynamic organization supporting women pursuing careers in sustainability.

Through financial assistance, mentorship and connections to industry, Trellis Fund is committed to helping build a more diverse, inclusive and resilient workforce in Canada.

Since 2024, four annual $2500 Trellis Grants have been awarded to students who self-identify as women and are studying to play a role in the clean energy transition in Canada. All fields of study are considered: trades, college or university training, professional up-skilling and micro-credentialing to participate in the low-carbon workforce.

2026 marks the launch of the Trellis Mentors program, designed to sparking meaningful conversations between students and energy industry professionals at different stages of their careers.
